Stress and Anger Management Program

“Do stress and anger have you, or do you have them?”

It was Jiminy Cricket that told us, “it’s what you are doing’ with what you got, and never mind in’ what your not, that pays off in the end!” Will we have stress and anger? You bet. What we do with it is what is key. Our work with you will help you make stress and anger useful.

Here is what you can expect from this collaborative effort:

  • The ability to differentiate “Good Stress (Eustress) from “Distress.”
  • The ability to identify where and how stress is generated.
  • A holistic approach engaging thought, feeling, intuition, and instinct in managing stress.
  • The application and refined use of a Stress Management Tool.

With regards to Anger Management you can expect:

  • A review of anger as part of your learning and an authentic response in a critical incident.
  • An introduction to Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and a personal reading about your current EQ state.
  • The use of a critical incident to discover and use your personal “Triggers.”
  • A process capturing the origin and creation of personal “Triggers.”
  • Alternative ways of self managing your “Triggers” and anger.

This stress anger work is more a program than a process. Unlike the “Medical Model” PPC is based on effective action, not talk and meds.

It usually takes 8-12 hours to complete this work. The work is accomplished in longer 2-4 hour sessions.

Expect to be engaged in a very active experience of learning.

As soon as you are ready to make your stress and anger useful, call PPC at 952-922-8822 to make your appointment.
